Project Description
The Ksirorema Quarry drilling program is designed to gather high-resolution geological and geotechnical data from a known limestone deposit in Attica. The investigation includes 1,200 meters of vertical and inclined surface drilling, performed by a single high-performance wireline diamond core rig.
The primary goal is to assess rock quality, structural features, and subsurface conditions to inform future development and quarrying operations. Drilling operations are conducted in full compliance with environmental and safety protocols, with sampling focused on characterizing lithology, weathering profiles, and rock mass properties.
Given the presence of karst formations, altered limestones, and zones of water inflow, Geotest applies specialized drilling techniques to ensure safety, maintain borehole stability, and deliver high core recovery, crucial for accurate geotechnical analysis.
