Project Description
A total of 8,000 meters of core drilling, allocated into 24 boreholes, will establish a 50-meter grid resource upgrade drilling inside the Échassières Kaolin mine. The drilling program is part of the Imerys' EMILI project which contributes to Europe's economic independence in energy transition metals.
High-quality drilling coupled to high-recovery is a requirement for the project that includes boreholes with length up to 500 meters.
Launching our new partnership with the French company SEMM Logging, quality borehole imaging technics (televiewer and natural gamma-ray logging) will also be offered as a service.
Project Challenge
Demanding project that requires high-quality drilling and state-of-the-art borehole imaging instrumentation and related data interpretation.
- Televiewer imaging quality
- Excellent core recovery
- Increased daily performance
- Deep infill boreholes
RESULTS
Excellent exploration results obtained in the previous years allowed the establishment of a more tight drilling grid which will allow better understanding of ore grades and distribution.Project Information
